Requirements for Daycare, Night Camp and Play Groups

All dogs must be 100% dog friendly
Dogs must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper and Kennel Cough vaccines.
All dogs must have a negative fecal exam within the past 6 months.
All new clients must fill out a pre-approval questionaire and provide current vaccine information before dogs can be admitted for any of these services. Night Campers must have attended one day of daycare in order to be approved for overnight stays. This will also apply to dogs who attend classes, grooming or playgroups.
All dogs must be neutered or spayed after 8 months of age.

At Finlayson's Daycare, we take a small number of dogs so there is no need for rotating groups or long periods of crate time. Dogs will enjoy playing all day from 9am to 4pm with a 1/2hr lunch break.

Doggie Daycare

Days - Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri

For those who need Daycare on Wed, Sat, or Sun Dayboarding can be the best option. Dayboarders must use the hours provided under the Night Camp program. The daily schedule for Dayboarders will run the same as for Night Camp.
Regular Daycare Hours:

Drop-off - between 7-9 am

Pick-up - between 4-6 pm

We can accommodate requests for special pick up and drop off times for Daycare.

Play time for Daycare will start at 9am and end at 4pm with a 1/2 hour lunch break. After or before this time potty breaks will be provided.

Cost - $19 when using regular pick up or drop off times.

Special Times - $24 if special pick-up or drop-off times are requested.

Night Camp

Come stay and play with us at Finlayson's Night Camp. When your pets come to Finlayson's they will spend their day playing with less pen time than most facilities. Because Night Camp takes place in Mary Finlayson's home, dogs can go out early and late for potty breaks. On Doggie Daycare days Night Campers may spend the day in Daycare playing. At night or during breaks they will stay in a pen, indoor fenced area or loose in our grooming room. This will depend on the dog and their needs. On off Daycare days, Night Campers will spend lots of time playing or hanging out with breaks in between. We take an average of 7-10 Night Campers so it is important to pre-register as soon as possible.

Drop Off and pick up times

We do not allow special drop off or pick up times for Night Campers. Because this is our home, we ask that you be on time.

Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday -7-9am or 4-6pm

Wednesday - 8-9am or 4-5pm

Sat & Sun - 9-10am or 3-4pm

Cost - $30 per night. Campers must pick up around the same time dropped off or a day of daycare will be added. Example: if a pet is dropped off in the morning they must pick up in the morning or an extra $19 will be added.

Saturday Play Groups

Come play at our one hour owner attended Play Groups. This is a great way keep your pup socialized while burning off energy.

Playtime can be inside or outside depending on the weather.

No need to sign up. Once you are approved or in class, see our website for Play Group dates.

Dates and Times - Most Saturdays - 1pm for small dogs or puppies and 2pm for larger dogs.

Private Play Groups with only Mary's dogs can be arranged for $19 a session.

Free -For Finlayson's Training students - if you are attending a class or in our One Year Program.
